01/03/19Why pre-packaged food is important for the disabled

With mounting concern over unnecessary use of plastic packaging especially pre-prepred food is clear, however another argument proposed by some disabled indivduals highlights how some rely on this convenience to make their lives healthier and safer. People with limited muscular activity and dexterity can have difficulty peeling and cutting fresh foods, such as fruit and vegetables safely themselves and therefore pre-preapred food enables many to have a healthy diet and remain safe in the kitchen.

This convenience does come at a price as it’s cheaper to buy unpackaged foods, so the need for more low cost recyclable packaging continues to ensure disabled people aren’t discriminated against.
